The stage for events
Lowther Park is the largest outdoor events venue in the Lake District. From the huge grassy stage and seating bank near the river, to the backdrop of Lowther Castle or the ancient trees of the old deer park, nature and 21st century facilities combine to make Lowther a spectacular but informal stage for events by day or night. Lowther has been the venue for many memorable parties and events during its long history, and now hosts up-to-date events including the sell-out music festival, Kendal Calling and The Lowther Show.
